The Short Story

A Lifetime of Creativity

Profile%2520Photo_edited_edited.jpg

This is a reflection of a young black, open-minded African male who has given his life to the world of creativity. After graduating high school at The National School of Arts, A lack of funds saw me find employment in a number of various retail jobs.

The retail environment taught me how to be professional in the working environment but more importantly, gave me the opportunity to experience dealing with different people effectively and how different people from various cultural backgrounds react to products, services as well as the marketing of organizations. This gave me a unique advantage when briefing and designing for clients. After a few years of saving combined with a student loan, I had the opportunity to further my studies in Media and Graphic Design which I am still studying.

I have mostly freelanced with grassroots leveled businesses with the highlight of my career so far redesigning a logo for Flanders Quarry, a mine based in Durban.

Although I have a short professional design career, I’ve had the great fortune to work on some truly inspiring projects, while meeting many influential and creative individuals along the way. I believe in working together to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. For more information about my experience, portfolio or how we can collaborate on an upcoming project, get in touch today.
